2025 Summer Softball Program Update

Hi everyone, 

We have a bit of turbulence to navigate this season including the South Tahoe Middle School (Soroptimist Stadium) undergoing another phase of major improvements.  New dug outs, renovated parking lot, and hopefully a developed warm up area with batting cages are expected to begin early July through remainder of the season.  This is awesome to see happen and a big thanks is due to the local Soroptimist group, LTUSD, and the school bond measure that passed to make it possible.  

However, this project and other headwinds are putting pressure on us this season and we are working diligently on solutions.  We are in touch with Douglas County about potentially operating at Zephyr Cove, NV in addition to, or in place of CA this season.  We know many would like to play at Zephyr Cove, and we see a vision to have dual programs available; potentially this year and beyond.  Whether we operate there or not, we're advocating for them to renovate their infield with new clay mix, and offered to donate thousands of dollars towards the cause.  We know this is important to local and visiting teams.    

We don't know exactly how things will shake out in the coming days or week, but we hope to operate this season.   If we do, we'll likely have a bit of a delayed start (early June) and run a fast registration program so we can get up and running as quickly as possible.  More updates soon!
